Bald EAGLE: Simulating the high redshift universe

Introducing the Bald Eagle project, the largest Eagle simulation at high redshift. We use the EAGLE simulation to investigate the high redshift universe by carrying out high resolution re-simulations of representative volumes up to z ~ 6. We use these to investigate the properties of galaxies at these redshifts. A comparison of stellar population synthesis models, coupled with Cloudy, is carried out on the simulated galaxy population, and used to reveal the modelled impact on reionisation parameters.
