Galaxy clusters the most massive structures in the universe and their mass growth provides a unique test for cosmological models of structure formation. Clusters are also the location where many galaxies have their star formation strongly truncated, and this process is still poorly understood. I will review the latest results on the growth of stellar mass in clusters as well as he evolution of cluster galaxies over the last ~9 Gyr of cosmic time.
